The Amorim family purchased Quinta de São Cibrão as well as the plans to increase its production of high quality grapes.
It is located in the upper Douro, at Barca d'alva, with fabulous north exposure on the south side of the River Douro (it has 3km's of riverfront). It totals 198 hectares of olive groves and almond plantations.

The reconversion of the plantations into vineyards will take place shortly and will privilege the best national varieties for wine. There are plans for building a winery in the future.
